For those of you who don't know; October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. In support of the cause I wanted to help my blogging buddy Styles in his effort to raise awareness & contribute to the cure. Breast Cancer is one of the leading causes of death in Women. Although studies have shown the disease to be more common in women over the age of 40; It has no preference in age nor race. My grandmother was diagnosed @ the age of 71; she had to undergo a double mastectomy & I feel so fortunate to still have her in my life because there have been so many who have fallen victim to the disease.
