"Hey haven't I seen him before???" At first glance there's this uncanny sense of familiarity when you see Malik Barnhardt. Whether he's in a movie or making an appearance on a television series; he's undeniably noticeable and always seems to captivate his audience & dominates every role he portrays. While most recognizable by his bad boy persona; Malik has proven that he's more than just an actor.

Malik Barnhardt, who hales from the East Coast was originally discovered by actor Mekhi Phifer. Phifer helped him launch his career by hiring him as a production assistant. Which later led to his accomplishments as an actor, writer, producer and director. He's been featured in such films as “Get Rich or Die Tryin,” “Woman Thou Art Loosed,” “8 Mile,” “Pastor Jones,” “Jada,” and “A Day in the Life” Barnhardt has also had numerous guest starring roles in the television series “The Cell,” “Law and Order,” and “Arrest and Trial.

He just recently wrapped up his role in Ice Cube’s new film called “Janky Promoters” which Mike Epps & Ice Cube star as two shady concert promoters, who book a well-known rapper for a show, but can't afford to pay. The film is set to be released sometime in 2009.

So the next time your watching a flick & happen to run across a familiar face, not only will you recognize the brilliant actor you will also know his name...."Malik Barnhardt"...
